Penelope Leach quotes some rearch from McIntosh 2011 in her book Family Breakdown, Helping Children hang on to both their parents "Overnight care in early infancy does not appear to determine attachment security with the second parent. Warm, lively, attuned caregiving interactions between baby and the second parent appear to be central to the growth of attachment security in that relationship"
